Syllabus:

Examination of a selection of the different varieties of English spoken throughout the world. TIncluding a selection of so-called native speaker English, for example British, Australian and so-called non-native varieties, for example Singaporean, Indigenous, Indian. The differences between varieties in terms of their pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and their socio-cultural roles are explored and analysed.
