Self-determination and self-management - concepts explored, principles, potential for fulfilment and conflict. The Australian political and legal system - separation of powers, levels of government and powers, political process, international relationships. Options for change - potential and limitations of policies, achievement strategies in contemporary situations. Relationships of self-determination and self-management to project planning and the role of employees. Principles of critical reflection and their application to community development and management practice.
