Syllabus:

Oil and gas exploration geophysics - elastic properties of rocks. Seismic refraction - horizontal and dripping layers, delay time method and field practice. Seismic reflection - geophone arrays, CMP method, static corrections, velocity analysis, deconvolution, multiple attenuation and migration.
