Syllabus:

A study of blood counts, peripheral blood and bone marrow smears for the clinical laboratory investigation of systemic disease and common haematological disorders, including iron deficiency, anaemia and megaloblastic anaemia. Automation. Malaria. Blood transfusion practice including serological techniques and ABO/Rhesus blood grouping. Australian Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service.
