Laboratory Mathematics - SI units, conversion of units, significant figures, density, specific gravity, water of hydration, percentage composition, molarity, expressions of solution concentration, dilutions. Laboratory methods - photometric calculations,haemocytometer calculations. Determination of reference ranges. Calculations associated with quality control. Introduction to statistics. Evaluation of laboratory methods.
