Main ideas and approaches in the study of development, development thinking from the eighteenth century to today, colonial, post-colonial and post-development theory, globalisation and development, and indigenous notions of development, environment and development, management of development in Asia and elsewhere, main factors in development (World Bank, NGOs, states).
