Syllabus:

Computer organisation - survey of components, encoding/decoding, internal and external data transfer. Spreadsheets - data types, entry methods, mathematical operations. Programming - BASIC. Number systems - base 2, 8, 16 arithmetic, decimal conversion. Boolean algebra - basic operation and rules, truth tables, boolean expressions, limited simplification. Gate networks - basic gates, introduction to combinations. LabVIEW programming. Statistics.
