Syllabus:

Nature of ethical issues and ethical reasoning, relationship of ethics to public policy, ethical dilemmas in current and proposed health policy. The right to medical care and the rights of patients, personal rights versus community protection. Death and dying, human experimentation, genetics, behaviour control, abortion, freedom, informed consent, sanctity of life, truth telling, ethics and legal sanctions.
