Syllabus:

There will be preparatory work and readings for each session. The unit includes seminars and workshops addressing such areas as questionnaires, the appropriate use of surveys, using the library, using and accessing electronic databases and the Internet, using the media, visual analysis, report writing and presentation methods. You will be expected to make full use of generic online resources on study skills and information gathering. In addition you will also be expected to access relevant professional design and technological expertise that is appropriate to your own presentations. A formal course work unit participation in classes is required.
