Syllabus:

Review of approaches to policy development in government at local, regional and state levels and examination of specific policy problems as practical examples. Exposure to case studies illustrating the key stages of formulation, evaluation, implementation and monitoring in spheres related to urban and regional planning. Preparation of a policy statement for a specific planning agency.
