Syllabus:

Concepts and principles of relational database modelling and design, creation of a relational database from a conceptual (entity relationship) model, normalisation, data and database integrity, design and definition of database structures (tables, columns, indexes and views), use of structured query language (SQL) to interface with a database, transaction analysis.
