Analysis and application of the concepts and precepts of role theory to advanced nursing practice in a specialty area. Role creation, design and evaluation. Development of a conceptual framework for the role of the advanced nurse that includes, but is not limited to, the subroles of leader, change agent, consultant and collaborator.
