Introduction to the basic concepts of geology, general structure of the Earth, nature of the crust. Principles of stratigraphy and sedimentology. Weathering and erosion, formation of soils. Palaeontology. Hydrogeology, ground water quality and movement. Plate tectonics, minerals and formation of rocks. |
