Examination of the impact of economic rationalism and corporate managerialism on school restructuring and reform. The identification and critical assessment of major issues concerned with school development. Examination of strategic planning and school-level change management. Analysis of competing models of school development/improvement. Linking whole school approaches with curriculum and classroom practice. School development from the classroom up.
