Syllabus:

Philosophy of science. Major research paradigms currently being advanced in nursing - positivist, interpretive and critical. Principles of scientific inquiry within these paradigms. Theoretical frameworks in the context of nursing and health care practice in Australia. Contributions from contemporary studies in areas such as phenomenology, feminist thought and critical social science.
