Syllabus:

Introduction to real property law, including the role of equity. The meaning of land - estates and interests in land, adverse possession of land, dividing fences. Introduction to native title to land. Background to the Torrens system, features and operation of the Torrens system. Overview of co-ownership and strata titles, leases and Torrens mortgages.
