Introduction


This course enables students to extend knowledge of current academic research methodology as it is applied in the field of geology, and to demonstrate this, through undertaking a supervised research project and the preparation of an Honours dissertation.

Duration and Availability


This course is one year full-time study.

Course Organisation


All students are expected to take Geological Remote Sensing 401 and two other coursework units offered by Applied Geology or relevant and equivalent Honours coursework units offered by other Schools/Departments at Curtin.

Additional Course Expenses


Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
