Introduction


This course offers a range of studies in mathematics extending the student's knowledge and developing their ability to find efficient numerical and analytical solutions to problems. Completion of a project and presentation of a seminar are necessary components of the course. Students completing the course will have been exposed to the methodology involved in the pursuit of independent research.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites


A bachelor degree with a mathematics or mathematics and computing major.

Recognition of Prior Learning


Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability


This fee paying course is two years full-time or equivalent part-time study. Two intakes are offered each year, in March and August.

Additional Course Expenses


Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
