Syllabus: Employment and professional practice: patient rights, ethics, employment, registration, insurance, relevant Acts, associations and continuing education. Practice management: personnel, communication and quality control. Community dentistry: methods, situational analysis, target groups, strategies, evaluation and resources. Specialised topics: interpreters, oral conditions and child development, nursing caries, disabled patients and dental specialties overview. This is an industry experience unit.
