Syllabus: Introduction to the Japanese language aimed at basic communicative competence in all the skills of speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural knowledge associated with the topics addressed. For reading and writing, Hiragana and Katakana are used. Mainly the polite style is used. Not available to students whose first language is Japanese.
