Introduction

This Applied Statistics double Degree Major concentrates on the scientific application of mathematical principles to the collection, analysis and presentation of numerical data for informed decision making in an environment of uncertainty. It includes theoretical and practical units that will cover the development and application of statistical methods and probability models, and the use of popular statistical and data analysis packages.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

Mathematics 3C/3D or Mathematics :Specialist 3C/3D or equivalent.
