Syllabus: Natural products: commercial and biological significance of naturally occurring compounds. Terpenoids, steroids, alkaloids and cannabinoids, flavinoids and alkaloids. Industrial use of enzymes. Stereochemistry and mechanisms including conformational analysis and stereo effects onreaction rates and equilibria. Laboratory work: advanced synthesis and analysis.
