Syllabus: Historical and epidemiological background to alcohol and other drug use and policy in Australia. It covers relevant theoretical models, and provides insights into improving drug policy with both [key drug using / special] populations (e.g. injecting drugusers, prisoners, Indigenous people) and the broader community. The overall aim is to provide participants with a framework to improve the integration of research into drug policy formulation at local and national level.
