Syllabus: Health geography incorporates geographic techniques into the study of international health with a focus on the spread of disease. Students will learn to apply the functionality and capabilities of geographic information systems (GIS) to applications in international health. This will be complemented by analysis of the relationships among geography; climate; social, economic and political factors; and health.
