Syllabus: Developing, marketing and managing wine tourism. The theoretical component of the unit will include identification of opportunities for developing wine tourism, techniques for profiling the market segments for wine tourism, the operational requirements of wine tours and winery accommodation, the role of the cellar door, winery events and festivals in wine tourism and the links between wine, food and the arts for the purpose of making land management decisions. .
