Syllabus: The structure and evolution of global and regional financial systems under capitalism. This includes global and national financial crises, corporate accounting crises, profitability and investment of transnational corporations, taxes-drive-money approach, commodity prices, balance of payments constraint, financial structures of accumulation and micro credit.
