Introduction

Finance Major- This major is designed for students who are interested in pursuing careers in finance, broadly defined to include corporate finance, financial institutions, financial markets and various branches of the financial services industry. Asian Studies Major- gives student a high degree of 'Asia-literacy', developing insights into various areas: culture, society, religion, history, politics, environment, linguistics and communication, and business organisations. Using a multidisciplinary approach, it emphasises what is universal and/or comparative about Asia. The major also helps students understand the social and business dynamics of the region, and to develop their career and research skills. It thus balances theoretical investigation with a practical career orientation.
