Introduction

Students studying in this stream will focus on the care and management of critically ill paediatric patients requiring intensive care. As in the intensive care program, students will need to be registered nurses working in a dedicated paediatric intensive care setting and will combine learning from the applied clinical sciences to the practice context. The course aims to take nurses who wish to specialise in the area to be competent in all aspects of paediatric intensive care.
