Course Organisation

Because secondary school teachers are usually employed to teach more than one school subject, it is a requirement that students undertake a minor study in a second curriculum area. The units are scheduled over two semesters in sequence. A total of ten weeks field experience is undertaken and consists of supervised teaching segments and teaching assignments. There is also additional experience in schools in connection with academic units.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.

Special Note

Applications to be made to - Tertiary Institutions Service Centre, 100 Royal Street, East Perth 6004. Overseas students apply directly to Curtin's International Office.
