Syllabus: The general biology, adaptations, ecology and taxonomy of the Australian flora, with particular emphasis on the south-west region of Australia. Fire responses and fire-related life history traits, parasitic and carnivorous plants, reproductive biology, floral characteristics and taxonomy of selected dicot and monocot plant families, and an understanding of Western Australia’s vegetation types.
