Prerequisite(s): 10836 (v.4) Econometrics 200 or any previous version
Syllabus: The first part of the unit covers the theory of Linear Regression Analysis. The assumptions and properties of Ordinary Least Squares (OLS), Generalised Least Squares (GLS) and Maximum Likelihood Investigator (MLE) will be investigated. The statistical foundation of various test statistics will be introduced. The second part of the course consists of a series of seminars with topics chosen by students. This allows students to select the materials most relevant to their future research and/or study.
