Syllabus:	Architecture of a database managment system (DBMS). Designing constraints and structures for database access: index, hashed cluster and tablespace. Loading and establishing data integrity. Concurrency control. Optimisation techniques. Mining a database for useful information and data warehousing. Designing a database for e-commerce.
