Syllabus: Development of basic physiotherapy competencies in the management of peripheral musculoskeletal disorders. Aspects of typical acute and chronic peripheral joint and soft tissue disorders covered include aetiology, pathology and clinical features, assessment, clinical decision-making, and management strategies including education, prevention, occupational health, manipulative therapy and soft tissue treatments.
