Syllabus: Development of the foundation competencies in understanding human development, cardiopulmonary and exercise physiology. Selected topics on human development include physical, cognitive and social development in children, adolescence, adulthood, ageing and dying. Selected topics in physiology include pathophysiology and clinical features of pulmonary and cardiovascular diseases, muscle strength and endurance measurement, exercise program development and evaluation.
