Syllabus:

This unit provides the opportunity for the student to undertake a research project on a mining, minerals engineering or other topic approved by the unit co-ordinator. Students are required to submit a dissertation, conference paper and make a presentation. The work may take the form of an engineering analysis, experimental investigation, theoretical study or design project.
