Syllabus:

Mental health prevention and promotion across the lifespan. Partnerships model of care, models of mental health nursing practice. Psychiatric rehabilitation, psychopharmacology, risk assessment. Management of critical incidents. Diagnostic reasoning, evidence-based clinical decision making within the legal, ethical and moral frameworks of care delivery. Australian and New Zealand College of Mental Health Nurses Inc, standards of practice and the national practice standards for the mental health workforce. Counselling and multicultural and indigenious issues.
