Syllabus:

Addresses and fosters different skills required for writing in various media formats, concentrating on four media forms in particular the press, broadcast, advertising and the Internet. Examines the organisational logic and industrial demands within which different types of media operate, with the objective of providing an understanding of how and why writing formats differ across various media. Theoretically and practically oriented, this unit aims to provide an overall conceptual understanding of theselected media industries as well as foster the techniques of writing relevant to them.
