Regolith materials and profiles. Regolith terminology and classification. Geochemical terminology and pathways. Regolith materials. Weathering and surface processes. Mineralogical and geochemical changes during regolith evolution. Regolith minerals and their properties. Regolith and landscape evolution. Significance of deep regolith for the Australian environment - landscapes, agriculture, salinity, mineral exploration, groundwater exploration and chemistry.
