Syllabus:

The application of sampling theory, Fourier theory, correlation, convolution, filter theory, gridding and contouring of geophysical data as used in the exploration industry. Introduction to MATLAB, temporal and spatial aliasing, filtering of data, Fast Fourier Transforms (FFTs), geophysical applications of correlation and convolution, FK transforms, Hilbert transforms and gridding of geophysical data sets.
