Introduction

This course combines agribusiness management and marketing education with journalism. Technical principles of agriculture, viticulture, horticulture or aquaculture is part of the agribusiness marketing degree.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are encouraged from applicants and are assessed on an individual basis. Recognition of prior learning may be awarded for approved TAFE units and students who have completed the Associate Degree in Agribusiness.

Duration and Availability

This course is four years full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Course Organisation

Journalism and agribusiness marketing are studied concurrently, with units from both fields being studied in every semester.

Professional Recognition

Graduates may be eligible for membership of the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science.

Career Opportunities

Employment may be found as journalists in print, radio or other media in areas that deal in agribusiness.
