Introduction

This minor offers a sequence of units in international affairs that prepares graduates for the fast-paced world of international relations. Topics covered include: international security; trade; economic and cultural globalisation as well as human rights; food; energies; public health; the natural environment; technological change; demographic issues and ethics in international relations. It is designed for those aspiring to careers in government and private industry, foreign policy and defense, public service, international finance and management, journalism, media, teaching and consulting as well as students wanting to be informed about the changing and complex world in which we live.
