Syllabus:

Community health - health care systems, health policy, financing and the workforce. New public health and the Ottawa charter. Public health dentistry - characteristics, planning services, evaluation, delivery systems and fluoride. Dental health promotion- health behaviour models, social factors and campaign examples. Research - types, epidemiology, dental indices, designs, data, samples, statistics, evaluation and literature reviews.
