Syllabus:

Horizontal and vertical motions of the atmosphere. Meso and micrometeorology, the atmospheric boundary layer and the sea breeze. Air pollution and climate change. The hydrologic cycle, run off and subsurface flow, water quality and erosion. Oceanic processes affecting continental shelf and coastal zone issues. Coastal erosion and pollution. Continental shelf fisheries, oil and mineral resources. The Australian continental shelf.
