Syllabus:

Provides students with the opportunity to consolidate work completed in their first two years in examining Australian Studies as a critical discipline and practice. A number of topics will be examined. Ideology and culture in Australian history, cultural identity and social relations, cultural patronage, the social location of cultural nationalist of Australian culture, ideas, art and politics, literature and the national problem, sport and Australian culture and Americanisation.
