Syllabus:

Radiography of respiratory system, abdomen, upper and lower extremities, the shoulder and pelvic girdles. Communication skills component such as principles of effective communication, techniques of effective writing, referencing, argument structure, journal article, report, summary preparation, research skills, oral presentations skills, interview techniques, curriculum vitae and the use of non-discriminatory language. Seminar component consists of various Medical Imaging Scientists speaking on the subject of patient care with different types of patients, namely paediatric, geriatric, physically and mentally disadvantaged patients, oncology patients and the importance of communicating within a radiology department.
