Syllabus:

Issues relating to students' clinical placement experience - hospital malnutrition, screening those at risk of poor nutritional status, outcomes of nutritional support. Nutritional issues relating to pregnancy and infants. Emerging issues in nutrition and dietetics. Students will be required to prepare and present a seminar selected from a range of topics, which relate to a disease or condition and diet. This will require reading with critical evaluation.
