Syllabus:

Cultural concepts of Western and Indigenous views on health and illness, including both physical and mental aspects. An introduction to traditional Indigenous healing practices and regional differences including difference in 'bush medicine' treatments.How and when to use Indigenous and Western medicine or healing practices, including working with traditional healers within a Western health system. Indigenous spirituality and how it impacts on health.
