Syllabus:

Introduction to the biomechanical and kinesiological principles related to analysis of normal movement of the upper limb, posture and gait, and abnormal movement patterns leading to deformity or dysfunction. Introduction of biomechanical principles underpinning occupational therapy interventions, with a focus on splinting used in the management of musculoskeletal dysfunction. Principles of pain management.
