Syllabus:

Deals with the history and theories of representing art that interrogate meaning through emergent technologies. The unit challenges materiality and immaterial to create a range of new, conceptual, linguistic and philosophical problems requiring solutionsfor exposure. This unit will investigate the expertise and experience of media practitioners, creative artists, visual thinkers and practitioners from related fields such as hardware and software engineers, architects and mathematicians, in the process of presenting evolving forms of electronic art. The unit will focus on the gallery, museum and other venues for display and presentation of electronic artwork as a social exchange.
