Syllabus:

This unit is designed for students in the Master of Science (Computer Science). An appreciation of the issues and the state of the art in wireless communications, networks, and their underlying technology. Some of the topics to be discussed include basic wireless communication technology, wireless networking including mobile IP and wireless access protocol, wireless LANS technology and standards, including IEEE 802.11 and Bluetooth, and current wireless network security issues and services.
